Integrated Management System (IMS) Policy

Horizon Addis Tyre Manufacturing PLC is committed to produce and deliver best quality tyres that meet customer requirements and predefined product standards. We are committed to use ingredients that are safe for use and for the environment. Our products shall conform with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements as well as environmental, energy and occupational health and safety requirements of interested parties.

We are committed to implement integrated Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety and Energy Management Systems that fulfill the requirements of the international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 50001:2018.

Our policy is, therefore, directed towards achieving the following objectives:

• Achieving customer satisfaction and fulfilling relevant interested parties’ needs on an ongoing basis;
• Protecting the environment in which it operates to ensure sustainable growth;
• Enhancing occupational health and safety of workers all the time, through avoiding accident, timely responding to emergency situations, keeping the wellbeing of the employees and creating suitable work environment; and
• Preserving energy during all operations

We are committed to continually improve the effectiveness of the integrated management systems through:

• involving all employees and relevant stakeholders in implementation and maintenance of the systems to increase their level of commitment to quality, environmental protection, assuring occupational health and safety and energy saving;
• Providing adequate resources and ensuring efficient utilization for continual development of the company and the employees as well; and
• Continually improving products, processes, occupational health & safety conditions, the environment and energy usage through the development and review of the integrated management systems objectives.

The top management shall ensure all these intentions are communicated, understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization and regularly reviewed and updated as required.
